Atlante Media

ATLANTE starts the creation of an institutional and economic system, with dossiers of newspaper news from Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal and Green Cape Islands. Aiming to improve and promote public and private operations between the “ultrapreipheral” regions and Northern Africa.

The base is a technological structure with a central production and co-ordination centres in the Canary Islands, as well as centres in Madeira and Azores. This allows the setting up of a “business antenna” and allows a network of Tele-workers in the most desirable locations.

At the end of the project, there will be a public entity in the Canary Islands responsible for relations with Africa, three associated central businesses in The Canary Islands, Azores and Madeira, as well as a technological centre to give support to the project. Inside the project you will find, foundations and agencies promoting local and regional development.

The main idea behind the ATLANTE project is to: give document support and allow the daily access to the news, to improve business, cultural, institutional and political relations. To improve the co-operation between Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal and The Green Cape Islands to Spain and Portugal.

  The Tele-work Platform

The foundation advises the Canarian association of Specialist Employment Centres (ACEE) in the PCCP 2004 agreement, for the presentation and management of the communication platforms and Tele-work projects for these centres.

Throughout this project, the use of Tele-work and the development of technology is always promoted. These services will be available to the specialist employment centres and will create a platform of Tele-workers and provide communication links between these centres and the market.

  TeleRup

TELERUP is a project that facilitates the integration of people with physical disabilities into the work place through Tele-work. This type of work will be set-up in different economic areas of the Canary Islands, Madeira and Azores. The Tele-work will be available in sectors where it will give an added value, for example, in tourism (especially), insurance, banking, consultant advice, and software development.

There are three reasons to become part of the TELERUP program, 1) the implantation of Tele-work as a labour motivator will have a great positive effect on the economy, especially in the participating regions. 2) Any method of integrating disabled workers is very good from the social point of view. 3) The overcoming of the geographical disadvantages associated with the “ultrapreipheral” regions and cultural barriers. The Tele-work aims to bring closer and improve relations between the participating countries.

The global objective of TELERUP will be the creation of a common network of human resources of Tele-workers created in each one of the centres throughout the islands. With a total of 30 disabled workers being integrated into the workplace.
